01 — The journey

Eleven steps, one direction.

Company names, places and legal structures changed. What stayed the same: finding business opportunities, connecting industrial suppliers with markets, building local structures and developing relationships until they became real business.

04 — Questions

What companies usually ask.

01Is AETEK new to Central Asia?

No. Industrial supplies reached customers in Central Asia from 2018, and the business behind AETEK has been building international business since 1998. Since 2025 Central Asia is the central region.

02What did you do in Russia, and what happened in 2022?

From 2008 we built companies and structures there, most recently URARUS in Kazan and Moscow, authorised representative of a German pump manufacturer and of AETEK. After 2022 URARUS was put on standby and the regional business architecture could no longer continue as before. The experience stayed; the focus moved to Central Asia.

03What does that experience change for a European company entering Central Asia?

You get a partner who has already run representation, import, service and project accompaniment in a large, demanding market, and who knows the questions a manufacturer asks: who speaks for my product, who handles customs and service, who stays engaged when it takes years.

04Which languages do you work in?

German, Russian and English, towards your team and towards customers in the region. Our representatives on the ground also speak the national language of their country.

05How do we start?

With a short conversation and the fit check: a structured review of your technology, your current position in the region and your goals. If the fit is not there, we say so.

Bring us your market question.

A short conversation and the fit check show where your technology stands in the region and what a first step could be.
